In Memoriam...

Many of you have seen my previous posts of
Miss Daisy...
She has been our darling Golden Girl since she came to live with us December 8, 2002.
She was a rescue, and was approximately 5 when we got her.
On March 16, 2011 she left us to frolic in the fields of Dog Heaven...

She was our sweet Golden Girl.  The best dog either of us had ever had the pleasure of sharing life with.
She is missed.

Oh, no... I am so sorry for your loss and my thoughts and prayers are with you. Thanks for posting links to Daisy's story - I'll go review them now. And thanks for the Will Rogers quote. I'm with him. Loads of love... You were all lucky to live with each other for these nine years. May your hearts heal whole again. She'll always be with you.

Oh Sweet Golden Girl---she was well loved and will be missed so much. But she is happily running and playing with the rest of the divine dogs just waiting to see you again.
She will always be by your side. MB

Thank you MB...she was well loved, and still is!!! I know she's running in the fields of Doggie Heaven...or maybe in her case, riding in God's car with the window down and her nose in the wind!!!

Thank you Anzu...yes...she is beautiful forever!

I could tell that Miss Daisy was special. To have been loved by a very special dog is a blessing. I could sense your bond, and I've never met either one of you.
I am so sorry.
A big Hug coming your way ....

I'm so sorry for your loss. Miss Daisy was a real cutie and I know all too well the sadness you are feeling right now- we lost our Abby January 3rd and I'm still not over it. I loved your quote about if there are no pets in heaven that you want to go where they wen - my sentiments exactly. Take care - it will get a little easier with time. I know how much you're missing her.

Thank you Chris...an interesting side note...our Calico kitty Sadie (also featured in several posts here) has been crying out loud and wandering the house night after night since Daisy left us. It breaks my heart because I can't help her understand...our other cat has been through this before so doesn't seem to be as affected. But little Sadie is perplexed...
