New, Used, Dog

Here's a few recent photos of the dog we rescued in November.  She was someone's discard, but now she's part of our family.  We only know that she's somewhere between 2 and 4 years old, had not been spayed (is now), and is part Terriersomething!  Any guesses???? The foster family had already renamed her.  We couldn't risk confusing her with yet another name change, so we tweaked their name a little and renamed her Maddie May.  Over the past 30 years our last 3 dogs were all Mays ... Osa May, Effie May, Maggie May (who some of you remember), and now it's MADDIE MAY.  She's got character and has a lot to learn, but we will do the best that SHE can.

What a cutie!!! We rescued our Golden when she was about 5...she's now 14 and diagnosed with liver cancer...but she still bounces around when she thinks we're going outside, or better yet for a ride!!! Rescues are the best!!! Somehow they know and are grateful for every minute they can share with you!

Maddie May is as lucky to have you as you are to have found her!!!
