Catch of the Day

Unbelievable! The temperature is dropping into the 20's (F), my plate is full with preparations for a weekend long art show and then a concert on Sunday night and look who sprints into my yard. I put the dog dish out and filled it with food and another with water. Put this beauty on a rope and drove him up to a neighbor to see about coordinating efforts. Then we came home again and I tried keeping her inside the studio while I practiced but he pranced around constantly and Talullah was twice her normal size, glaring down from the loft.

Finally, I tied him outside where he was probably going to have to sleep for the night anyway, and went back to practicing. After a while, he broke the rope and escaped. A little while ago, he came back to the studio door but started to play and run around when I went after him, then took off again. Maybe he'll come back again so we can find his person or a new home. I'll let you know.

I'm not a dog person, so I wouldn't know what to do w/ a dog that size - I'm scared of dogs that size. I would probably call my sister & her husband to come get him. Wow! It's good to know he's being taken care of though. Yes, keep us updated!!!
He's a beauty!!!

He wasn't really that big but I'm sorry to say that he never came back so he's on to the next chapter. I'm hoping he has a safe journey, wherever he's going.
