This is a cool blog with so many tributes to our beloved animal friends. This Bassett was a rescue and lived a long life afterward with two other dogs. Her name was Buttercup. The other two, a rescue named Cream, and a pampered Doberman named Kahlua (see a theme here?) also lived long and happy lives in Florida with my niece and her husband. All are gone within the past 3 years but "the girls" will live on forever in many hearts. I like to say, because it's true, "there's no love like dog love." Amen. Oh, they also have an attack cat named Sugarplum ;) whose photo is not on this disc so, next post.
