half-stray cat

fotografia alojada em www.flickr.com
This cat has no owner, but has the protection of the elderly residents of Luis de Camões square, at Sesimbra. If you cross this square and show some sympathy for the cats, suddenly a kind lady approaches and tries to convince you to adopt one of them.

Yes, they feed a group of cats. One of those cats already appeared on this blog, here.

Wow!
Good that SOME residents take care of the homeless cats, but what if they are going on holiday? When no-one is there? Do this homeless cats die from hunger than?

Is there also a cat-pension, for home-less cats? I am just wondering....

Joann, Sesimbra is an old fishing town, and this happens on the traditional neighborhood. The residentes, specially the elderly ones, never go on vacations. Maybe a one day excursion, but that's rare. And there is no cat-pension, for home-less cats
